The TrueLine commitment
The Ownership Promise
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Most website companies in our industry keep the site if you cancel. Some keep your domain. It's the dirty secret that makes small business owners distrust everyone — including us, until they read this page. So here it is, in writing, binding on every TrueLine plan:
- 01
Your site is yours.
Not licensed, not rented, not held hostage. The website we build for you belongs to you from the day it goes live.
- 02
Leave anytime, take everything.
Cancel with one email, effective end of the billing period. Within 7 days you receive a complete export of your site — every page, every image, every word — plus help pointing your domain wherever you go next.
- 03
Your domain is in your name.
We register or transfer domains to you, not to us. Nobody should ever own a business's front door except the business.
- 04
No contracts. No lock-in. No surprise increases.
Month-to-month, with 30 days' written notice before any price change to your active plan — and a full refund of your first payment if you cancel in the first 30 days.
- 05
We earn the renewal every month.
The industry standard is to make leaving painful. Ours is to make staying obvious. If we ever fail at that, the door is open and your site goes with you.
These commitments are part of our Terms of Service and apply to every customer, automatically, without asking. — The TrueLine Sites team
