Terms of Service

1. What we provide
TrueLine Sites ("TrueLine," "we") designs, builds, hosts, and maintains websites for local service businesses. Depending on your plan, service may also include an AI chat assistant, missed-call text-back, and Google Business Profile management. We do the work; you run your business.
2. Billing
Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the price shown at checkout. There are no setup fees, no contracts, and no minimum term. Prices for your active plan will not increase without 30 days' written notice.
30-day guarantee: cancel within your first 30 days and we refund your first payment in full, no questions asked.
3. Cancellation and ownership
Cancel anytime by emailing hello@truelinesites.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. When you leave, you keep your site: within 7 days of cancellation we deliver a complete export of your website and reasonable assistance pointing your domain wherever you choose. Your domain name is registered in your name or transferred to you. The full commitment is at /promise.
The exception: TrueLine's hosted platform services (the AI assistant, missed-call text-back, and our management tooling) run on our infrastructure and end with the subscription.
4. Edits and fair use
Plans include reasonable content edit requests — wording, photos, prices, hours, services, pages — completed promptly, typically within 1–2 business days. "Reasonable" means the ordinary needs of one business location; full redesigns or additional locations are quoted separately before any work begins.
5. Your content and responsibilities
You confirm that content you provide (text, photos, reviews, licensing claims) is accurate and yours to use, and you're responsible for compliance with rules that apply to your trade (licensing disclosures, advertising regulations). We build to the information you give us and correct anything promptly when told.
6. AI features
Chat assistants identify themselves as AI, are configured to answer only from your business's information, and their conversations are logged and monitored for quality. AI output can contain mistakes; it is not professional advice, and we correct reported errors promptly.
7. Service levels and liability
We target continuous availability via enterprise hosting infrastructure but cannot promise zero downtime. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose; we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost business.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we'll email active customers 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance; canceling before it takes effect is always available, with the ownership promise honored in full.
